About FaceRating

What FaceRating measures, how the AI analysis works, and what it is for.

What FaceRating is

FaceRating is an AI face analysis tool. Upload one clear selfie and a vision model measures the geometry of your face — the symmetry, the proportions between features, and how consistently they follow classical canons like the golden ratio and the rule of thirds. You get a harmony score, a face-shape label, and a breakdown across six dimensions. A paid full report adds region-by-region readings and a ranked, non-judgmental styling plan.

What it measures — and what it does not

The model measures proportions, not worth. A score describes how regular and consistent the geometric pattern of a face is, the same way a tool might measure the proportions of a building facade. It says nothing about your health, your character, or how attractive you are to the people in your life.

That framing is deliberate. The analysis prompt explicitly forbids the model from judging beauty, race, gender, age, or health, and forbids it from refusing — faces simply get measured, like anything else with proportions.

How it works

  1. Upload a well-lit, front-facing photo. Free scans need one credit; a full report needs three.
  2. Analysis. The photo is sent to an AI vision model, which returns landmark measurements as structured data. Your photo is never used to train models.
  3. Report. Results appear instantly: score, dimensions, and — for full reports — the region map and the plan.

Honest limitations

  • AI measurements are approximations. Lighting, camera angle, lens distortion, and facial expression all shift the numbers.
  • The same photo scanned twice can produce slightly different scores — treat the result as a ballpark reading, not a verdict.
  • Faces with heavy makeup, filters, or partial occlusion measure less reliably.
  • This is entertainment and education. It is not medical, cosmetic-surgical, or psychological advice, and it should never be the basis for one.

Privacy in one paragraph

Free-scan photos are deleted within 2 hours. Paid-report photos stay private with the report. We never sell photos, never share them for others' purposes, and never train models on them. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
